PRODOOR installed a Compact door at the brewery of the well-known Tyskie beer to replace the old roller door. The Kompania Piwowarska brewery group wanted to have a new industrial door installed because the previous roller door was not safe enough. The old roller door was worn and susceptible to corrosion. The Polish brewer was looking for an alternative to traditional roller doors, as these wear out quickly with intensive use and in a damp working environment.
Powder coating
Due to the humid working conditions at the Tyskie brewery, a Compact door was chosen, with essential parts of the Compact door powder coated. This is because the brewery has an extremely humid working environment, which places high demands on an industrial door. This powder coating option provides the brewer with an industrial door that is protected against severe corrosion.
The ideal replacement for roller doors
The Compact door proved to be an ideal replacement for the old roller door in this project. Naturally, the powder coating makes the door a more durable and reliable solution. However, the most important reason for choosing the Compact door is its compact installation size. The Compact door is just as compact as the traditional roller door with slats, making replacement quick and easy. A standard sectional door would not have fitted so easily in this project due to the top rails.
More daylight and a more professional appearance!
Another advantage of the installed Compact door is the transparent panels chosen by the brewer of Tyskie, among others. This allows more natural daylight to enter the brewery, creating a more pleasant working environment.
Furthermore, the Compact door is a more aesthetic option than a traditional roller door. The Compact door consists of panels that offer a more professional look from both the inside and outside. The old roller doors consisted of slats, which can lead to a less aesthetic appearance.
